• Centrifugal Mud Cleaner:

The traditional desander, desilter or mud cleaner uses hydro cyclone as the core part of solid-liquid separation.

Their disadvantages are high energy consumption (the cyclone driven by a 55KW or 75 kW sand pump) and also unstable de-sanding effect (clogging, abrasion, pressure instability, etc. affect the separation), so the equipment efficiency is not high. Company designed a centrifugal desander to solve the above problems.

The centrifugal de-sander/Desilter working principle is a big diameter bowl low-speed centrifuge, but because of its specially designed drum structure, it is suitable for super high volume mud processing, and it can remove sand without reducing the mud weight when processing heavy mud. Both fixed speed and VFD speed are available.

  • Vacuum Degassers:

Degasser is special equipment used in solids control system to remove the gases such as hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide and natural gas from the drilling mud before they reach the shale shakers.

Mud gas separator or degasser is a vacuum unit, which is mainly composed of vacuum tank, vacuum pump, motor, vacuum pump system and electrical control box. Vertical and horizontal vacuum degasser for your option.

Vacuum degasser adopts three methods to separate gases from the drilling fluid:

  1. The drilling fluid is thrown toward blade and tank wall in jetting form through the windows around the hollow shaft of rotor, the gases contained in the drilling fluid break and escape from drilling fluid.
  2. Negative pressure is generated in the vacuum tank by vacuum pump, the bubbles in the drilling fluid expand to surfaces and break, and thus gases can be separated from mud much easier
  3. The foam separator and two layers impeller continuous rotate which drive the gases appear and break.

    Single screw pump is a kind of positive displacement pump, which can deliver media with different density and viscosity, the best feeding pump for decanter centrifuge. Rigid rotor rotates in the elastic stator (usually made of rubber) to deliver medium. In addition, rotor is a rod component with single-end external thread, while stator is a sleeve component with double-end internal thread, which forms a continuous sealing line in a threaded shape.
